This is the first cake of the year 2013: a ballerina hippo cake for a little girl that’s turning 1. I was recommended by an acquaintance to her friend.
The cake is a 10″ butter cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
The top tier is from dummy.
The original design is unknown. The topper also replicated with some additional details added.
It looks a simple cake, but it took me sometime to figure out how to make those bunting lines uniform.
I wasn’t happy when making this topper. But somehow the final result is what I expected. Thank God for His wisdom!
