Emily’s mom saw the earlier version of this cake in pink. She fell in love with the elephant & the bunting, but she also wanted to add more animals. The animal idea was obtained from Emily’s baby cards.
I enjoyed making the toppers. They are just cute! I also loved how the flags came out. They are from edible papers.
The cake is Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream, coated with Dark Chocolate Ganache.
I was glad to get Emily’s mom text saying that she was so happy with the cake.
